FIRST STORY - WOMEN BUILDING / NEW NARRATIVES FOR THE 21st CENTURY
is a transdisciplinary project including participation by women who work in various artistic and cultural fields. The project opens up new dimensions of cultural production in terms of visibility of womens issues. The process of production becomes part of the project itself. Workshops during the exhibition, a regular insert within MIL FOLHAS, the supplement of the daily Portuguese newspaper Público and a symposium will force an exchange between the participants and those who are interested in participating, involvement in the topics raised and a sharing of their experience and knowledges.
